Color Bar is the oldest bar in Sapa. The bar is designed in a local style. The materials used to build the bar are mainly environmentally friendly items such as earth, stone, bamboo, and rattan, similar to the houses of ethnic minorities currently living in Sapa. The bar has been in operation since 2011, 13 years ago. The bar is located about 400 meters from the stone church and the love market. The bar was designed by a talented artist from Hanoi who has a deep affection for the land of Sapa.

Located on a gently sloping street with an area of about 50 square meters, the bar is designed in the traditional style of the indigenous people of the Northwest region. The main materials used for the bar’s décor are environmentally friendly elements such as clay, wood, and bamboo.

The bar operates from 2 PM until late at night. Its interior is adorned with abstract paintings created by the owner. In addition, there is a fireplace, charcoal stove, and oil lamps, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere, especially during the winter months.

The drinks menu features local  fresh fruit by the bartenders.

The main music genres played are blues rock and trap. Additionally, the bar hosts live performances featuring traditional instruments such as the leaf flute and bamboo flute every Tuesday and Friday.
